Mrembo Africa is a social enterprise based in Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa, with a mission to empower girls and women in creative arts, fashion design, and décor. Our goal is to provide economic sustainability for women so they can provide for their families and reduce their vulnerability. We work with women regardless of their cultural background, social status, education levels, religion, or disabilities, and we are inclusive of men. The women are involved in the design process and also acquire skills in financial literacy and marketing. Mrembo Africa’s 3-year strategy is to grow the business locally and internationally, support more women, and become self-sustainable.
